Everyone knows that drugs are dangerous. So why do people risk their lives for a moment of euphoria? Many young people (men and women) begin to take drugs out of curiosity. "I just wanted to see what it was." Often, drugs are the key to your friends accept you. Want to join the group is normal and natural. For some youth, however, the approval of their peers is often more important than their parents. Do anything just to look funny.
Be careful! Do not let your desire to be accepted by your friends drag you to the deadly trap of drugs. THE GREAT ESCAPE
Some young people fall into drugs because they are trying to escape something. Maybe they're looking to get rid of problems at home or school. Sometimes fleeing their own anger or loneliness.
But Jesus Christ came for you to have full life (John 10.10), real life, not a momentary euphoria induced by drugs. Jesus wants to give a lasting peace. He said "know the truth and the truth shall make you free" (John 8.23)
But ye are a chosen
royal priesthood, a holy nation, people
to God,
to proclaim
virtues of Him who called you out of darkness
u s marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9)
